Scott Glenn
LPC Associate, Supervised by Dena Roberts, PhD, LPC-S
Scott is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Dr. Dena Roberts, PhD, LPC-S. Scott earned a BA in History at Baylor University. Prior to pursuing a career as a therapist, he had a variety of work experiences ranging from waiting tables to being an attorney. Scott felt called to a career as a therapist after having received the benefits of therapy himself. He received a Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University in 2023.
Scott’s interests lie in helping individuals work through complex trauma, increase insight and self-awareness, process grief and loss, explore identity, and examine substance use. Some presenting issues he has worked with in the past include depression, anxiety, perfectionism, substance abuse, relational and family conflict, and life stage transitions among others.
Taking a relational approach to therapy, Scott believes change occurs through the relationship between client and therapist. He believes that we all have the answers we are looking for internally, though we may need a little assistance in finding them. Scott works with clients through collaboration, compassion, and authenticity to help them find those answers. Scott began training in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) in January of 2024. NARM is an integrative approach to therapy based in attachment science. NARM addresses attachment, relational, and developmental trauma.
When not seeing clients, Scott enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching live
music, reading, cooking, and walking his dog, Kenna, around town lake.
Scott is currently accepting new clients.
